Katech Performance is well known in performance circles, and many builders put one of the Katech engines underneath their labels. They have full car packages, crate motors, parts, and services to hop up your Vette to about any degree you desire. They also work with a variety of other GM muscle cars not covered here.

Note: In the Zorly series we normally don't get bogged down discussing pricing. In general we cover modifications that the owner of the new vehicle in question might afford. If the pricing is insane we'll make some kind of comment, but usually steer clear of the exorbitantly priced modifications to the stock vehicles. Katech pricing is competitive with the reputable companies of this type.
As far as the modern Vette goes, the main Katech packages are as follows:

C6 Corvette Z06 (3+ packages):

1) Stage 1 Cam - Exhaust - Silver Valve Covers
There is a stage 1 and 1+ on the above build, plus any reasonable options from the other packages can be added (for extra cost of course). This is basically a 575+ horsepower fairly light modification. It carries a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty.

2) Street Attack Z06
The Street Attack package is a 585+ horsepower package with an extensive options list. Many of the options available on the "Street Attack" are aimed not only at the power output, but also the power to weight ratios as there are many lightweight parts available through Katech. This package carries a 12 month / 12,000 mile warranty.

3) Katech Track Attack Z06
The Track Attack packages are for sanctioned race use only, and may only be installed on non-registered race cars. These packages start out at 630 horsepower, and are designed to build your car into whatever you feel is desirable for the races you compete in. The options list includes about anything you could dream up that is doable.

Several optional supplements are also available for the ClubSport including: Caravaggio leather race seats; A/C and/or radio delete as well as carpet delete to further reduce weight; roll bar or harness bar and six-point harnesses; and an ARE dry sump system.
So what’s the final verdict? A power-to-weight ratio of 5.45 lbs./horsepower (standard) or 5.28 lbs./horsepower (fully optimized).
Complete with a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty, the Katech Performance Z06 ClubSport starts at $109,000 (standard) and is expected to maintain 50-state emissions compliance*.
Power plant improvements for the ClubSport are up to you. These options include the array of modified LS7 engine packages offered by Katech, or you can stick with the stock Z06 LS7 engine and benefit from the other ClubSport improvements.
Also, all these (other than engine) options, listed above, are also available for almost any car you might have outfitted at Katech. They are not only for the ClubSport package.
Of course Katech can also supply anything you need for earlier model Vette upgrades too, especially the C5.
