Corvette “American Metal Racing” modern muscle cars welcomes you!
This series begins and will start off by working through a short history of the vehicle (short as in what will be written here, not necessarily the actual history of the vehicle itself), which will then be followed by a continual concentration on what is new and current, and also what is upcoming or in the works with the Chevrolet Corvette, one of Americas tried and true sports cars.
In other words, the first week or so of posts will be working towards the vehicle as it exists "at this moment in time", then we'll try to keep abreast of any good mods that Chevrolet, or other independents, are working on and/ or refining, or releasing for sale. This will include certain tuners and aftermarket companies that have built a name for being among the best this world for what they have to offer for the wicked Vette. After running through the history of the Corvette the posts will concentrate on how not only GM fine tunes the vehicle, but just as importantly how many enthusiasts fine tune the modern vehicle to make "streetable" gains in performance.
We will be thinking about the evolution of the Corvette automobile, as pictured above. 
Not about that of the Corvette Warships, first referenced in the 1670's. which are also evolving, as shown.
Excuse any mistakes or misconceptions along the way (and feel free to contact us, or to make corrections and recommendations in the comments), as this blog will basically outline the evolution of not only the Corvette itself, but also that of an enthusiast on the way to familiarizing himself with what happened along the trail as the Corvette morphed into the formidable street weapon as it exists now, while also considering how it preps for tomorrows advancements. Also, feel free to add any comments what-so-ever that will add any positive information of interest to all.
Also, some personal opinions will be kept to a minimum, but keep in mind that the author has a favorable view of the Corvette, and will view the vehicle in a complimentary light for this series, but it is also understood that the car is not everyone's "cup of tea", and is grateful for the fact that competition exists in many flavors, and also for the fact that the stiffer the competition remains, the more superior the Vette must strive to become.
